What is Representation? Representation is the way something is re-presented, meaning it was adjusted and has went through a process to fit the media. Everything in media is changed to be the best possible version of how it can be presented.

Here are some TV Shows that represent my age group, my gender, my race, etc.
Euphoria

“Everybody gets their feelings hurt. Some people need to get their feelings hurt sometimes.”
— Fezco”
Euphoria is a representation of the life of Highschool students elevated to an extremity. Due to its amazing way to represent characters through their personalities, people and kids can relate to them.
A Silent Voice

“You probably didn’t know this, but I don’t really fit in at school. It’s cause I have trouble looking people in the eye, so it’s easier for me to just stare at the floor all the time.” -Shoya Ishida
A silent voice brings a sad representation of how some people grew up from kids to Highschool students while going through trama and overcoming grief.
Mid 90's

“A lot of the time we feel that our lives the worst, but I think that if you looked in anybody else's closet, you wouldn't trade your shit for their shit. So let's go.” - Ray
Mid 90's shares the story of a young kid named Stevie who is trying to conect with a new friend group of skaters. The movie represents stevies family as dysfunctional, which is can be considered stereotypical as Stevie ends up going downhill throughout the movie the more he hangs around a "Skateboarder group"
