Cityscapes

The world is filled with cities we humans live in. They differ from every country and continent we live in as well as its people. It's beautiful to see the work that people have built and the attention to detail from endless creative individuals. City lights light up the sky and can be a therapy as well as a headache. Cities can be composed from small houses to skyscrapers touching the stars.

This genre relates to me because I love taking landscape and cityscape pictures. It is fun trying all the different angles and I can put my own creative twist into every picture I take.

Cityscapes and PleinAir are good examples of the topic because they are filled with many beautiful pictures of cityscapes that also provide locations if they wanna be visited.

My Own Cityscape Pictures

The pictures displayed in the sections below are from a trip I took to New York. Since the state is mostly known for its skyscrapers, me and my friend took pictures as we walked for miles everyday we stayed there. I planned to photograph the cities to show here in my blog.Here are my favorite photos I took of the impressive buildings and architecture of New York while also capturing the beauty and contrast of the sky.

"Poking Skyscrapers"

I like this picture and how the buildings cluster 70 percent of the sky. I took into account not leaving any spaces between the buildings and also how the reflection looks. The cool colors make the picture come together. The problems i had were waiting for the sky to become clear.

"Architect Romance in Symmetry"

I love this picture because the road looks clean and the use of the triangular sky against the monotone of the buildings make this picture special. I took into account centering the sky with the road as to make the road clear. The contrast of the greens with a healthy upper side of the picture gains attraction. The only problems I had were waiting for the cars to go past and centering myself in the middle of the road.

'Skyscrapers Sky-scraping"

I took this picture because the blank space from the sky shapes out another skyscraper, surrounded by skyscrapers. i took in mind the lighting from the screens with the logos from the left. as well as the dark buildings in the end with the sky getting brighter towards the bottom makes the picture come together. only troubles i had with this picture was choosing the right amount of exposure while people were passing.

"Lonely Moon Misses Loom"

I vibe this picture because of the amount of symbolism in the blue. As in how we see blue as the sky and sea but also as peaceful and loneliness. Referencing the moon when i say that, i for one or for others can connect with it as well as relate with it. Things i took in consideration when taking this picture was the lighting and how buildings are missing since its like another side of New York. Only trouble i had with this picture was taking it steadily since i was in a ferry.

"Parkour Dream"

This picture I took at an event taking place in one of the skyscraper attractions that manhattan had to offer. i took into consideration the zoom of the camera while also capturing the tallest building in sight in the center. Troubles i had were the time i had to take this picture since i had to wait a line to get to this point.
